Giving back has always been an important part of who we are. As a locally family-owned business, DōMA Home Furnishings has been deeply rooted in the community for the past 19 years, and community support has always been at the heart of our mission. Throughout that time, we are proud to have helped raise and donate over $300,000 to local nonprofits and charitable organizations.
Our Annual Give Some – Get Some charity sale is designed not only to create meaningful savings for our customers, but also to spotlight and support organizations that are making a real difference locally. This year, we were honored to partner with Family Resources and Limbo Chihuahuas, two nonprofits whose work embodies the values of care, stability, and compassion that help strengthen our community. Through the generosity of our clients and community, we were proud to raise nearly $10,000 in support of these two incredible organizations.
Family Resources, Inc. is a respected nonprofit organization that has been serving children, youth, and families in the Tampa Bay area since 1970. Their mission is to support well-being and long-term success through programs that focus on prevention, counseling, education, and safe environments. From youth shelters and family counseling to relationship education and enrichment programs, Family Resources plays a critical role in strengthening families and supporting those facing difficult circumstances.
We were proud to have Family Resources as part of our Annual Give Some – Get Some charity sale. Their involvement added real meaning to the event by helping our community better understand the needs of vulnerable families and the positive impact local support can create. Their work aligns closely with our values of giving back and investing in the well-being of the community we serve.

Continuing our commitment to supporting meaningful causes through our Annual Give Some – Get Some charity sale, we were also proud to partner with Limbo Chihuahuas, a nonprofit organization doing incredible work for animals in need. Just as strong families create stronger communities, compassionate animal rescue plays an important role in fostering empathy, responsibility, and care within our local area.
Limbo Chihuahuas is a dedicated rescue focused on saving and rehoming Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes. Operating through a foster-based system, each dog is placed in a loving home environment where they receive individual care, attention, and socialization while they wait for their forever family. This thoughtful approach helps ensure successful, long-term adoptions and gives each dog the best possible start in their next chapter. We were honored to help shine a light on their mission and grateful for the opportunity to support an organization that is changing lives, one small dog at a time.
